There is a Ford recall in progress in the US
Not the 7.3, but those owners with full imports may be interested.

Frod recall video

Regards
Bob

PS, Chevy drivers have been known to pay big money for this effect, Frod gives it free. :-)

The lone Ranger is back, week out of with horses....

In general, I am so busy, I am going to ignore the knockers... Except for Postings that might be misleading, and this qualifies. This Posting has Nothing to do with the Fords you can Import....

For any of those of you that really want to know, this is the new exhaust system mandated by the Leftists to prevent black visible emissions in the air from the diesels.. Ford is the First, Again, to make this possible by collecting it in an exhaust filter and timing a BURN of the carbon.... Both Chev and Dodge will have to follow along soon.... But Ford is pioneering again...

This Ford engine is the 6.4 Twin Turbo, out only three months, NOTHING to do with the imports. This motor will be 12-18 months in compliancing before you see it here, IT CANNOT BE BROUGHT IN RIGHT NOW AND COMPLIANCED...

Personally, I would like one that did that... Ha! When they are Complianced and available, I will let you know. My guess? is 18 months. Trust me, there is a share of horror stories out there for the other leading contenders, Dodge, Chev, and the new Tojo.... Myself I would not bother and tend to shy away from new technology until it is proven in the field... It took two years to work out the sensor bugs and ghosts on the 6.0 PowerStroke before I bought mine.... But now the 05 and 06 are going like a freight train... There is one on Ebay for sale with 479,000 Miles on it, in commercial service hauling cars on car hauler trailer, in good running order...

In general, everyone has their own agenda, beating the drum for the direction they have taken... I try and stay on a level keel and report how it is for mainstreams sake of Newbies and such...

So much for the lone Ranger, always one riot, ....... one Ranger...

I've found a much better bait than green prawns or live yellowtail.

Just put a bit of fresh Chevy on the hook.

Gets real big bites every time

Ha!

Good Night Bob of the BOG, glad to see someone else CRAZY to be up this time of night... Thanks for the Banter here and on the Owners Forum...

For the rest of you, that cannot get to the Owners Forum because you are not Owners or in the Schedule to be so.... Patience, patience, everyone that can, will get around to owning the best... Ha!
From the Owners Forum:

The meaning of CHEVROLET...

It is "Cheap Hardly Efficient Virtually Runs On Luck Every Time....." Ha! Ha! Lol... Definition come from a guy that had full head gasket job done at 30,000 and more, and went throught three transmissions, before lemon laws had Chevy buy it back from him... And don't fret, I am not picking on you Chevy owners, Toyota has its share too.... The truth is there are "bad luck draws and lemon laws", but Ford only has more in number because there are more of the trucks running BIG TIME miles out there than Chevrolet and Dodge put together... Smaller sort of van? Toyota is still King...

But big van and long wheelbase, Chevs, Dodge, and Fords, particularly Fords for twice the truck at half the money since there are thousands here... Unless you can afford to go big time up in the 120-130 K range... Then go see the full import trucks for bigger vans... Smaller vans? Under 20'-21' ?? Toyota.... Is still the Number One tow vehicle...

"Struth" .............. from the lone Ranger...

Number One will always have its share of knockers in Oz, so be it... Go see for yourself and then you will know for yourself.... Have a study...

Good Night all, horses are bedded down back home, truck put away, back on deck tomorrow...
