Grumblebum & Dragon
Lying in bed last night idling flicking through the pages of the March edition of Caravn and Motorhome when I hit page 183 - my eyes popped wide open "Some bloody Mongrel has pinched one of my photo's" I exclaimed to the 'Dragon' who was feigning sleep beside me. "There anothe one" as I spluttered as I turned another page. Then I saw Conrads triple axle super-size monster on the opposite page and the penny started to drop.
"Aha", now remembering the discussions I had a few months ago with Jeremy Gough who was researching an article on caravan owners groups/clubs/forums etc.
I remember now sending him a few pics and some notes. Well there is the finished product - called 'Out Clubbing'
One amusing comment about A'Van Rallies - because they all look so similiar when cluster parked at a gathering that after over indulgence of the red coloured health food some owners have been known to head to bed in the wrong van! Hmmm... something to think about!
The Bt's and the
forum got a good wrap - as would be expected.
Cheers John

After the input we gave them you would have thought that a magazine would have been in the mail.
Or at least a message that the article was coming up.
Is it worth chasing a back issue John?

We read the article as we bought that issue - and thought the BT pics were just the tops. Good representation of BT use we thought.
Was worth at least a years subscription to you we reckoned! :-) Lol.

The article was bit light and fluffy and not a hugely absorbing subject - but not bad. Both you and I got quoted and the photos were good (but not credited), rally, campsites and river crossings etc certainly show the BT's in their natural habitat.

John, your comment about A-Vanners heading for a cluster of allasame lookin' vans at a rally made me remember us Boggers doing almost just that at the 2nd rally at Copeton in 2004! We would all look for Easy's bright green fluoro illuminated HAHN ALE sign he had rigged up outside on our van and find the location of each van from there! There was a bunch of maybe 30 vans all in the same area and try finding yours after a few bottles of red cordial!
Cheers, Jan O
