Hi all,
Julie and I have been working in Armidale for the last couple of months and managing motels is a 24/7 thing and those short contracts finished yesterday. So this morning at 7:15 am we left Armidale and headed North to overnight with Julie's Mum and Dad at Hervey Bay. (On the road again)
So who did we see today??? Still don't know as we had 800k's to travel by nightfall.
However, we saw a
Bushtracker in a free camp just North of Glen Innes...might have had a White Patrol wagon and then when we got over the border we spotted another Patrol and
Bushtracker heading South through Aratula..just North of Warwick....and then just before sundown we spotted another Bustracker in a free camp on the North side of Gympie...might have been towed by a Troopy??
They're everywhere....Bushtrackers that is and we only saw one Kedron...
Oh well safe in Hervey Bay tonight and we'll stay here tomorrow so Julie can Mum & Dad all she wants and then it's off to Mackay on Thursday to take over another motel....wonder how many BT's we'll see then???
We head to Adelaide on June 5th to pick ours up....the excitement doesn't show much does it??
Cheers all...safe travels
Rick & Julie

Keep an eye out for a 20 ft BT towed by a blue F250 with a canopy. Ivan & Angie called at our place in Noosa last Thursday making a slow trip north, so you may still see them.

Will do Brian.....if we see them we'll give them a shout on the UHF.
10 DAZE in Mackay followed by a fortnight in Rockhampton...also WORK...hey, that's another 4 letter word....and then off to Adelaide on June 5th for you know what....GASP...everyone here will be glad when we pick it up too...might stop us from "Lurking Around" the
forum so much......Maybe..
Cheers
Rick

While in Nambour this morning we saw a NSW registered Holden Rodeo towing an older 16 foot model with the lower steel sides. The un-usual thing about this van though was that they had spot lights fitted on the roof on at least the front, rear and drivers side.
In the wrong car without UHF so couldn't speak to them.
