Contact Nick-n-off as he had extra leaf fitted to his vehicle and it raised the whole vehicle up by about 30-40mm compared to ours.

We had it done at Carrols Springs in Brisbane on a reccomendation from Graham(F-Troop) and it has made a huge difference to the ride and stabiltity of the whole rig. Originally they were going to fit one extra leaf in the back, but we ended up with two extra.
We also had the front parabolic springs replaced with a standard 5 pack set. The truck sits about 50 - 60mm higher and the airbags have become redundant.
The total cost was around $1400.
Before the changeover, I would have to have the airbags pumped up to around 40-50psi when we were fully loaded with boat, motor, 130l fridge, 3kva honda, sundry boat gear, booze and 400L of extra fuel to bring the truck back to level and now the springs do all the work.
Hope this helps

Cheers
Peter

I would just hang off a while as you probably know ARB have just released a OME suspension kit for the F250. I spoke with the manager at ARB in Perth just before I came back over here and he said hang off a bit, about three months, that was back in April, as they had a couple of problems with the new setup but they are fixing it.

It will give you a full spring replacement front and rear plus shockies all round for about $1800 he said, and I thought that was cheap compared with Tough Dog for the F250 at around $4,500.

So compared with $1400 for just the rear springs $1800 for a complete kit sounds cheap thats if he told me the correct price.

NiknOff just did his front springs.

Cheers

Hi Stewart.

The $1400 was for front and rear springs. My original shocks were ok so there was no need to replace them. I'll be very interested to see what ARB comes out with..

Jay

I was out at Steve's 4wd centre at Warragul the other day, he can help out with springs bellows etc. As you know him he may worth a call. By the way I take it you would recommend Steve and his work.
