Well we left Rockhampton yesterday and now we're in Hay...on the Murrumbidgee River.....'Twas raining heavily in Rocky when we left and they have had and inch and a half since yesterday morning and we drove through Miles and Condamine and it was chucking it down and very widespread too....Great news for those severely drought stricken regions of South West Queensland.

All through from Narrabri to the Hay Plains is all transformed too...with the Hay plains looking lush and green right through...real easy to spot the sheep in the paddocks when they're all green.

Good nooz Boggers....we will be in Adelaide 2morra and then we hook up our BT on Friday morning and shoot off to a waterhole and set up camp for a while...maybe wet a line and a few camp fires too.

When we left Rockhampton we were in shorts and T-Shirt and now Brrrr.....but it would explain why we saw hundreds of vanners Northbound on the Newell Highway these last 2 DAZE.

Cheers all and we'll post pics when we've picked it up...we know you're all enjoying this as much as we are....chuckles..

hey there Rick and Julie,

Still up here in Rocky, and you would be wearing winter jumpers and long trousers today. It is quite cool.

The rain looks like sticking around for a few days yet (which will ruin the Rockhampton show this week). We were going to go and changed our mind. Much nicer to sit warm and comfy in our BT with a good coffee and the Webasto on.

Best wishes for Friday. Don't forget the pictures 'cause Angie luuuuurves pictures.

Well it's good to see Capricornia getting some rain...the whole region needs it so badly....like the rest of OZ.

Yep, we're off within the hour and will be in Adelaide this afternoon....we'll get hooked up tomorrow and be off in search of flowing water and river gums...need the right back drop for the pics.

I'll post a bunch for ya Ang.....you'll feel like you're along on the adventure too.

Snuggle up to that Webasto....think we'll add that to the shopping list too.

Cheers
Rick
