Hello Cobber,
We have been using a Shell truck wash called Teepol which leaves the van looking like new. We use it with a soft truck-washing brush on an extendable pole and do the whole van, including windows and tyres. We then re-do the windows with Plexus to remove any foliage "scratch" marks and this leaves a protective film on the perspex. The Teepol leaves a nice shine on the aluminium checker plate and water will "bead" on the van as if it had been polished.
We did have to use an extra bit of elbow grease to get the Weipa Bauxite dust off after our trip to the Cape last year....but the Teepol did it!!
We do the Toyota with the same process.
Cheers............Rob

Water - I know it is a very scarce commodity, but each time we have returned, the stains have vanished with a good wash.

Why would you treat it any differently than your car. Just do the same thing with a good quality shampoo followed by a polish evey 6 months. Makes it a lot easier to keep clean if you do polish it.
Have fun.

Hi Cobber,
We found CitroClean to be very effective at removing road tar and similar "grunge" from the front of our BT and previous caravan; also use it down the Aluminium checker plate sides.
