Hi,
Has anyone had any experience with Fuel Cells in caravans? Either as an alternative or in support of Solar or a generator. The latest NRMA Caravan and RV mag (issue 2 , winter 2007) has an article which is very complimentary about fuel cells which can run on LPG (some units models on Methanol). The mag seems to imply that Fuel Cells are the way of the future. Generators perhaps fading out of use.
Thanks and Regards
Damien

Thanks for the link.
Pretty much indicates to me that there is not much info available, and a fair amount of cynicism about Fuel Cell technology within the caravan industry. Definitely need to dig much deeper. After speaking to a few well qualified people, there appears to be no reason why this technology shouldn't be excellent for the RV industry...at least on paper anyway
Will advise any good/new info if I come accross.
Best Regards

Damien there is a member of that
forum who calls himself "Tony Lee". He seems to be up to speed on this. PM him and I'm sure he can give you some good oil.
