Do we have any Bushtrackers travelling to the Cape in around 3-4 weeks time?
We are currently in Darwin and setting off for Cairns the Saturdat via Kakadu.
We will be travelling along the Savanah Way to Cairns.
Is there any news on the road conditions we could expect this year?

There are a number of vans heading out after a mini Rally in Boulia and a lot will be in the area you are travelling through over the next few weeks (us included!)
As for road conditions, local knowledge at places like Cape Crawford can be pretty handy.
Also have a look at the Tracks Conditions sections of ExplorOz - ExplorOz - Tracks
Safe travels

Just got back from the Cape yesterday.
Although I was not towing, saw plenty who were.
Roads are in generally excellent condition, there has been an awful lot of work done, and this is still continuing.
There are corrugations of course but nothing major or for very long stretches.
Cheers

Leaving Cairns for the Cape on Friday. No idea where we are going or how long for.
