Well we're back travelling between motels again and yesterday we stopped for lunch at a camp spot near Woodford (Qld) and pulled in next to a well travelled 18 owned and operated by Bob & Suzanne...lovely couple...great chat.
Then today we spotted a dozen BT's in one yard at Kunda Park when we dropped off our BT for some "Home Improvements" before our month off next month....Yip Yah...can't wait to go play the BT way....
Then at midday we headed North to Rockhampton to do this motel for 12 DAZE, while the boys at BT do the "Home Improvements" and on the way we spotted another BT pulled up at Granite Creek Rest area between Gin Gin & Mirriam Vale on the Bruce Hwy....
Bloody Bushtrackers....they're everywhere....Isn't it great...
Cheers All

We have just travelled 5100km from Sydney, Orange, Dubbo, Nyngen, Quilpie, Windoorah, Bedourin, Birdsville, Beltana to Adelaide and waved to one BT at Katoomba, and met one at Birdsville, we were just longing to meet a BT as it was our maiden voyage in our BT, but they were thin on the ground. We'll get on the road again and hope to meet many more.

Gosh...just bad luck...prior to these sightings we were in Armidale doing motels there and we stored our BT at the local van park and as I drove it in, I noticed anoter BT overnighting there and the following day Julie and I went for a run to Apsley Falls at Walcha and the car park there was empty except for a 20 Foot BT...they'd been on the road for 2 years 7 months..made us green with envy.
Well If your'e back in and around the channel country of SW QLD next month..look out for us...
Cheers
Rick & Julie
