The 2007 Muster is now shaping up as being the windyest and wetest Muster. We had a down pour late yesterday and it hasn't stopped. The roads are cut so you cannot get in or out, the creek is flowing fast and causeway is closed to vehicles.
Foot bridge is under water and you have to take your jeans off and walk through the creek holding onto a rope to get between vans and venue.

We are all doing the tings that you never let the kids do. Walk around in bare feet sloshing in the mud.

Hasn't dampened the spirit of the place though, just put out all the camp fires.

Jay and Jackie,

The sunset tavern at Karumba is great for a night meal and a watch of the sun setting down over the gulf.

Hiya Brian and all the Boggers at Gympie,

Stay safe up there... believe there are a number of trees coming down in the area so hope you are all in a secure area.

We were at Rainbow Beach Tuesday & Wednesday night and did in BLOW!!!
No wonder that Indonesian ketch was washed ashore at Rainbow Beach the weather was howlingW - I think they were very lucky having seen the height the seas were!

We skidaddled out of there and picked up our BT from Bushtracker yesterday.... decided we would be better heading south... so sorry we won't be catching up as discussed at Boulia.

We had a sunny afternoon on the Newell currently pulled up in the bush around the Pilliga scrub area.

Cheers all,
Helen & John
