We are taking delivery early next year of our 2nd BT but can't get the same mattress as our old van. We had a foam mattress with a quilted cotton cover about 6 or 7 inches deep. We would like to get something similar, any suggestions?? Has anyone bought one recently? Thanks for any help MELBA.

We have a yacht style bed, supposed to be queen size, but we purchased a DOUBLE size Latex mattress last May and it is the best mattress we have had yet.
The Latex mattress has a cotton pillow top on it and it is great. We have had foam and innerspring mattresses over the years and this is the best.
Latex mattresses don't have springs in them so they are easy to manipulate into tight and awkward places. We purchased it from Harvey Norman and is manufactured by Thomas Peacock and Sons in Perth and comes with a 10year warranty.
We decided to get a double instead of a queen to give more room around the bed to make it easier to make and are pleased we did. The only down side to latex is that some of them can be very heavy but we found one that was not as thick as some that we looked at and with the pillow top on it instead of all latex we thought it was lighter.

Hi there,
We chose a Lattex Mattress from Makn' Mattress (Nundah) Brisbane. Not cheap, not so heavy, made in two weeks and made to size. And not only that they are very helpful.
They are delivering ours in early March per our order.

Our Bt came with the queen sized latex foam mattress supplied - and we love it. The Dragon never gets disturbed if I am tossing around.

We are happy with the dense foam QS mattress in our BT. You can purchased foam mattresses cut to size in the required density from many foam rubber outlets, including Clark Rubber. Most will provide with fabric covers.
We liked the additional 'eggshell' foam overlay the previous owner had added so much, that we purchased one for our home bed.

Hi
My wife has a bad hip so we purchased a Tempur Nasa Technology mattress from Harvey Norman.
It was quite expensive but the most comfortable sleep you could ever have, may I suggest you go and try one.

Sorry for a dumb question but doesn't the BT come with a mattress or this about customising to suit owners?
