As has been posted previously a number of BT owners have installed 12cm computer fans at the upper fridge vent outlet to improve cooling. One drawback for us has been the noise emitted by the Dick Smith fans, we normally run only one.

I have this morning replaced the Dick Smith units with Scythe Kamakaze2 fans & the result, so far, has been spectacular. Very quiet & showing zero current draw with two fans on line. A bit less airflow per fan.

With these fans installed the arguement that the power consumptions of the fans negates some of the benefit of the intsallation is weakened. The (almost) silence is golden.

Maybe I am lucky, as mine is stock standard and never produced a problem.
Cheers
