Still cannot get this laptop beast to remember my laog-in and password for the owners section. I have trawled the control panel setting to see if they have been blocked - but cannot find anything.
Any suggestions
Thanks John

John,
I just logged on using your details and got access to the Owners
Forum without any problems.
Try again and see if you can get in now.

Brian,
I guess I was not clear... I can log on fine - but have to do it manually each time. The laptop will not record/remember the log-on details.

John,
In the past we have had a number of of problems affecting log on caused by Norton Security.
If you are using Norton, try disabling it logging on and then reenabling Norton

Have you deleted all cookies or have you prevented sotage of cookies?
I have found deletion of cookies deletes remembered logons.

John,
It has to be something with your computer because I have just gone into the system again using your logon ID and password. I also ticked the Auto Logon and it worked perfectly on the 2 occassions that I logged out and then back in again.
All I can suggest is that you go into Internet Tools, then Internet Options and delete all the cookies and files and start again.
You will loose all your auto log on passwords, but things should work again after you re enter them.
Someone else with more knowledge about computers might be able to help you more, but it has to be something with your computer settings.

Hi John
when you are logged in to the
BOG site go to the bookmark at the top left of the screen and bookmark the site and page. Next time you get onto the net go to the bookmarks and open the
BOG SITE from there. It may save you having to reset all passwords.
