Short Term Job anyone????

Hi All,
We're currently in Rockhampton doing a 3 week job Managing a Motel for the owners who are having a well earned break and as a lot of you who frequent this forum will know...that's what we do...Short Term Relief Management in Motels.

We've just had a call from a property owner who is looking for managers for his business starting from the end of this month. We usually have a list of managers we can refer to, but this time everyone is busy.

This job could be either short term relief for a few weeks or a few months or if you wanted a full time position...it could go that way too. The owners are looking for full time managers, but will put in Short Term Relief until full time can be found.

It's not a motel but a Road House with fuel and about 20 caravan sites and a couple of self contained cabins in a quiet small country town in Central Queensland. Not too far from the gemfields if you want a fossicking holiday later.

We know that some travellers look for work in Caravan Park Relief so we thought we'd put it up here...who knows it might benefit a fellow traveller.

One of the requirements would be a good hand at the hotplate as the usual roadhouse burgers and the like along with Truckies meals would be required. We could do this ourselves as we have all the skills needed, but we are booked out for the next 2 years....sooo...

If you think you could do the job with a bit of on site training and genuinely want to do it....let us know and we'll go from there.
