I use ordinary carwash/wax detergent and also polish it with a good quality car polish once a year.

We used water only on the BT.
On the last van we used NappySan...works a treat, just a capful seemed to fix it brilliantly.

Have heard that some people use a truck wash and are more than happy with the results.
