I am going to add a 4th Battery to my bank, I will extend the existing ply box that BT international installed which has been painted with a grey paint, Any suggestions what I should paint the extension I am goint to make with, would need to be able to stand up to any acid leak. I am also thinking of changing the lid to Perspex so you can inspect batteries without having to undo a heap of screws, anyone else done this if so has it been successful
Regards
Eric

My battery box was replaced with a larger one and we just used ordinary paint. I don't think that there would be many paints available that would stand up to battery acid on them.

Try this company for acid resistant membranes. I have not used them, but their web site looks interesting.
