We just came thru the famous Nindigully Pub and would like to offer a word of caution,
New owners have taken it over.

Yes the camping is still free, with great spots on the river bank,

Yes, the (hot) showers are still free,

Yes the beer is still cold, ( and reasonably priced)

No, the meals are "Big Smoke" ah la carte" prices and rather ordinary.
$27- for a mixed grill (with salad), $25- for the barra, and chips (no salad)
& $7- for garlic bread with no garlic as eg's.
And we and 3 other travelling couples waited 2 hours for our meals as we were buying a few drinks.

Next time we stop there we'll buy their beer but eat our stew in the van.

Last time we were there, the chef was off skiing.

We were sold two pieces of steak & two plastic boxes of salad & directed to an unlit BBQ, which after 30minutes was still not hot enough to cook on.
Like you, we consumed some of their beer, reutrned our purchases & ate in the van. We have passed there twice since & have not been back in
