I think I read a snippet somewhere (but I can't remember where) that Toyota were going to release a new 70 Series in Australia in 2009.
Has anyone else heard anything?

Yes, that's been the rumour for some time now but it is very hard to get any facts on the issue.
There's a new Prado coming out towards the end of this year but I can't get any good info on the 70 series replacement.
I've heard scuttlebut, that's all. I still think it's going to happen but Toyota is keping things very close to their chest.
What was it that Dusty Springfield said: Wishin', and Hopin, .....

that will be all about the current model. We are speculating about its replacement.
