After reading a thread on the Caravanners forum I went and checked my Bigpond Webmail and the Mail Box Storage limit has recently been changed from 20Mb up to 1Gb.

This will be great for all of us travellers who receive large attachment files from friends and regularly used to receive a Bigpond message saying that your mailbox is nearly full, or have had mail bounce because it was full.

Be aware that there is often a separate mailsize limit, as distinct from the mailbox limit. The Telstra MyConnect limit, for example, is 10Mb per email (but that is not going to be restrictive for most people unless sending MP3's or large zipped files).

GMail has a 7Gb storage limit, and no mailsize limit.
