We don't take a computer when we are travelling. We occasionally access our email. If you are a financial member of the
BOG are you able to access the members
forum from another computer?

Yes.
The computer you are using has no influence.
Be sure to have your member number and password and then just log in.

I remember trying to do this a few years ago and was unsuccessful. Maybe I was putting in the wrong password.
