Hi fellow travellers
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can use to clean the checkerplate on my van?
Thanks

Hi Yogibob
I have a truck with an Aluminium Back which I use a cleaner from Chemtech -CT12 concentrate. It brings up the Aluminium very nicely. I have had this stuff for some time now and am not sure if it is still available, but There would be other brands available from Truck shops. Hope this helps.

Hi
When we were living in central Victoria our neighbour was an interstate transport operator with an incredibly old, but highly polished semitrailer he used the German product Autosol on its checker plate.
I recently bought my second 250 ml bottle. 1/2 a bottle once a year on the BT with plenty of elbow grease.
Cost at my nearest auto centre at Victor Harbor $11.95.
Regards
David
