G'day tassies,

Biggest problem with Bikes is dust. If you mount them on racks be sure to have dust-proof covers made. We had our Giatex sliding/fold bikes in a dustproof aluminium checkerplate box on the A frame, in front of the spare wheels. See photos in Members section. That worked well.

Good luck and happy cycling BT-ing,

Rob

We too have a couple of fold up bikes and we have them in the back of the four wheel drive.

The bikes we have are great and we have ridden up to about 35 km on them. Then it was not the bikes that gave up it was us!

We could not get the Onyerbikes as the design does not suit someone 5ft tall - couldn't reach the pedals. So we ended up with one bike that is a Brompton and the other which is a Dahon Mu.

Hope this helps.
