Do you mean the 'old fashioned' hand set rivets done with a rivet set?
If so try the local nuts, bolt, fixings mobs (here in Adelaide I would try Blackwoods etc to begin with, and I think that there is a Blackwoods in Brisbane region, Ajax Fasteners is another name)
Also I have been known to use suitable dia AL rod (have used 3mm ALwelding filler rods at times) and simply pein (use ball pein hammer if available, then the face to dress dimples smoother) the rod into the hole by dressing along the rod to fatten the rod into the hole, then dress (burr a head shape) over each end on each side of what ever is fixed to what! Works with mild steel too! Will have to use a 'dolly' to support the side of the rivet not being hit if you are not working on a steel pad (tow bar or bull bar of van A frame or what ever!)

You can sometimes get blind rivets at Bunnings, but probably best to try someone like Blackwoods. Most rivets either pop or blind have a monel metal mandrill (stem), however the bit often left in when you rivet can rust and leave unsightly stains. You can get aluminium rivets with an aluminium stem but forget your average hardware store or Bunnings for these. You need to go to an engineers supplier such as Blackwoods and even then you have to find someone who knows. Most people don't believe you can et them with aluminium stems but I use them all the time on my boat.
