Those that attended the Quilpie Muster last year will recall that after we made suitable enquiries around town we selected the Quilpie Kindergarten as a needy cause worthy of support from our group.
A means of saying thanks to the Quilpie community for their support during our muster.
After discussing their needs the Quilpie Kindy advised us that a suitable donation would be some educational equipment and a range of road safety signs, (kindy sized) was selected.
These signs will assist in teaching the kids the basics of road safety, an important part of growing up even in a small community like Quilpie.
It took some time to locate the appropriate products and organize the delivery, not as simple as it looks as the playground equipment has to be of an “approved” design.
Anyhow, all is done, the equipment has been delivered and the kindy kids are using it.
Below is a letter to the
BOG from Quilpie Kindy expressing their thanks.
