4 Bushtrackers here anyone feel like joining us?

Great spot just south of Broome unpowered sites with ocean views only $18. Non ocean views $15. Apparently great fishing. Great walks, very scenic.

Happy hour at 5pm with like minded travellers (aka the other BT'ers).

Here for a couple more days.

Hope to see you here.

Cheers

G'day Allan & Sharon,

Aren't the rock formations stunning at sunset!! We'd love to join the party, but you are 12 months late to meet us there!!

Enjoy the rest of your stay............Rob and Liz

Tell me where exactly this great site is? We will be in Broome mid Sept with our BT which we collect in August. Great fishing! Sounds like a great spot

Hi Greg and Jenny,

Congratulations on almost being BT owners. You must be getting mighty excited and counting down the days.

On your map you can easily find Barn Hill. It is located just south of Broome on the Great Northern Hgy...just north of 80 Mile Beach and Port Headland. Driveway is 10km of very nicely graded sand.

Unpowered sites are on your right. They go way way way away from the other powered sites.

Have fun....

Allan and Sharon

Allan and Sharon,

My first post on the BOG forum... you are enjoying a location I have visited before, (unfortunately without the caravan comforts and benefits you are experiencing), and will visit again once we achieve our dream of having our own Bushtracker. A mate and I travelled in a 4WD and camped from Perth to Broome a few years back, visiting many fantastic locations, and I have to say that Barn Hill was a highlight. For those interested, I have just posted a photograph of the stunning rock formations mentioned in the response by Rob and Liz.

Yep ! that photo brings back happy memories.
We had a couple of days there in 2001 whilst in a 14 foot windsor. The stay lengthened to two weeks without trouble. Took about 16 rolls of B & W, colour and colour slide film in that time. Fantastic photography, and our favourite place on that year's travel.
Trying to get back again. We envy you all.
Cheers

G'day Allan & Sharon,

Thought I could post pics on this forum, but can't. So I've put a few pics on a new thread in the members forum. Probably better to have reports of idyllic, BT accessible campsites on the members forum, so they don't get too overcrowded in the future.

Happy travels.........Rob

My sentiments also Rob, I thought by now all BT owners would want to keep the best places to themselves, by that I mean for the owners of BT's!!!!
