Hi guys
The BrakeAways are back from a great extended trip to the Kimberley. In something of a mixed blessing while we were away, we’ve been given the opportunity to go overseas for a couple of years, perhaps even longer; something we’ve dreamed about for some time but didn’t think it would happen for some years yet. Having pondered long & hard over whether to keep our 1-year old BT (even thought of taking it with us), we’ve decided only yesterday that the most sensible option is to find a good new home for her, rather than be parked up in the back yard for that time. However, we will definitely be rejoining the BT lifestyle at some point in the future and we’ll be doing our best to stay in touch!
As we live near the BT factory, she’s been fully maintained and serviced by BT since new (records available). For the asking price, we’ll also provide our new super-quiet Yamaha 2400iS (2.4 kW) sine-wave inverter generator with professionally custom-made padded canvas protective cover and new 50 cm petrol chainsaw in moulded carry case.
Available for immediate delivery (Brisbane). Great condition including 3 new 120 A-hr AGM batteries replaced in July 09 under warranty. There are many options & accessories; in fact, everything you need to start immediately on the Bushtracker lifestyle.
June 2008 build date and VIN. Qld registered to June 2010.
$105 000 ono. Full details are in the For Sale sub-forum.
For those who might be interested, our 7-seater Jeep Commander 6 cyl turbo common rail diesel is also for sale (early October after we come back from leading our last Venturer Scout expedition to Cape York over the next 17 days). Details also on the For Sale sub-forum. Still under warranty until late Aug 2010. Fully serviced and maintained by Jeep since new. $39 000 ono fully kitted out for bush work and in great condition.
