Nissan Owners, I have a 2007 Patrol which I am generally happy with but am having trouble with a warranty item with Nissan. My clutch went whilst travelling in Kunnunurra. A new clutch kit including fly wheel was needed. There was no stock in Australia and a 5 week wait to get it. Nissan refused the warranty claim in any event so I had to install an after market kit at a cost of $3000 all up. The vehicle had travelled only 47500 k's. It seems that Nissan has adopted a position in Australia of not honouring major warranty items. I am looking for assistance with numbers to write to Nissan expressing disquiet about this situation. I could draft a letter which you could print out, sign, and send in. I am a retired solicitor and have in mind a review of Nissan's trading licence if the company remains intransigent. Any ideas? Please let me know.
