Does anyone know of any private camping at Busselton W.A.

We, Roslyn and I (John) both have jobs at a resort in west Busselton to start monday 21st or within a week but cannot get anywhere to park our home, (20 ft BT)

Everything and I mean everything is chockers for at least a month.

We are at Margargret Riv. at present but aren't game to leave as we could end up on the roadside and the local councils seem to take a dim view of that in the south-west corner.
(they even lock entrances to gravel pits down here)

We would really appreciate any help.

Thank you, phone us on 0427 038 129

Hi Spirit Gypsies

Try door knocking at a farm - they may be willing to allow you acces to a back paddock. Good luck.

Hi Mother Hen, Thank you for the suggestion.
we thought of that and went to the store / fuel depot at Vasse
where the very nice owner, Neil has been making enquiries for us but so far has not come up with anything.

We've found a place,
We took a drive down a country road , "following a feeling" , turned into a farm and were put onto the grandfather, a wonderful elderly gentleman, now by himself who even offered us 2 rooms in his own house.
We declined that offer but accepted his offer of a corner of his 1 acre house block.
with water and a sewerage tank.
It is only 8klm for the job.
We have yet to settle on our offer of fiscal grattitude but I suspect we will have a hard time getting him to accept any payment.
Isn't it beautiful to find those true kind souls.

Glad it worked out.

I actually sent a link to your original post to a friend who lives in Busselton. He made some enquiries but could not get a result.

Well done.
