Hi Stephen & Deborah,
I seem to remember that we video skyped with some friends for an hour one day and it used around 55Mb.

If you're using a wireless connection, you can always keep an eye on your usage if you monitor your connection manager while Skyping.

Hope this helps
Cheers

I think typing may be cheaper than video - you can always monitor your usage

When we had CDMA and a small plan, Skype usage was too much for our plan so we gave it up. Can't remember how much per minute but it was more than I could afford on a small plan.
