The Leak
Damage repaired by the factory under our insurance.
Have since installed a shower screen inside the shower to ensure no recurrence. Plastic film curtain type screen mounted on a telescopic curtain rod that I think we bought from Bunnings.

The catch
Try a light spray of silicone spray on the catch, particularly with the springloaded catch pushed in.

Not had any water leak problems but I solved the latch problem by lightly rubbing a cake of soap on it,works for me.

A year or 2 back we had a door catch problem similar to what you're talking about, we tried various methods including a new catch but turned out to be the
re-positioning of the lower hinge that solved the problem. Discovered that the door was very slightly "off square" to the door frame, only moved the lower hinge about 3mm to solve the problem ???.

We have had the two small springs break in our catch, i substitued some foam pushed in the hole and that worked well for 18 months, when we were nearby the Stegbar company at Maroochydore last we obtained some new springs and the catch complete, after installing i found the door to be very hard to open & shut, my fix then was to reduce the size of the button / catch with a small sharp knife to get it to close & stay closed.


Also on the shower door topic, within 1st few weeks of ownership our shower door initially came off the bottom hinge due to the screws not protruding far enough into the lower frame, longer stainless steel screws & job done, still good 3 years later.

Hi, we had the same problem with the shower door being hard to close. I worked out it was the frame around the door panel that was coming away from the plastic panel. Mine actually came right out. It is a hard job to push the frame/seal back onto the panel but with persiverance it can be done, using flat screwdrivers (not philips). Next, buy a good quality ocky strap and stretch it around the door when travelling, it should hold the frame to the panel and solve your problem.
Can't answer your leaking problem, we don't have that. However, wiping down the shower cubicle after every shower with an absorbent cloth gets rid of the moisture.
Also empty the shower head after your shower as water left in the head/hose tends to run out when travelling. Ian

We had same issue as Sundy & Cyclone. Check if screen door is square in frame.

If you need relocate bottom hinge fitting, remove door by flexing it out in the middle and this will release lower pin from hinge mount. You need to flex door a lot, but it won't break.
