BIGPOND have recently changed their Internet plans.

It would appear that most plans have an increased usage allowance for the same or about the same as the plans that they have replaced.

As Bigpond do NOT inform you that they have better plans or automatically upgrade your usage allowance, could I suggest that you go to the BIGPOND web site and check to see if you are able to get a better deal without an increase in costs.

I know they did an upgrade in January/Feb and did not inform current users (sneaky bastards) I understand some people got a rebate when they complained.

As we don't have fixed phone line and mobile (only bigpond mobile) we did not get any reduction but the aloowance went from 1GB to 3 GB

I agree that they are sneaky buggers. I rang to check up on new advertising and have gone from $49.95/month @ 3gb to $29.95/month @ 3.75gb. Mind you I do also have a fixed line and 2 mobiles. If you don't ask you don't get.

Sneaky, yes.

It just shows how little they respect their customers and discourage loyalty.

As soon as the NextG service is shared with other suppliers, watch the drop in Telstra customer base.
