Is there a link/thread on how to do this - have searched and can't locate anything?

There was an instruction sheet on Camec's site which I downloaded some time ago, however it only shows you how to replace a broken flap. It does have a cross section drawing though. I will try and post it in Tips.
I suggest you send Australite a email:

We spent a couple of hours cleaning our hatch and flyscreens only last week. Once the hatch was fully open I removed the screens carefully from the top corner lifting and peeling them away from the frame and then lifting them from the bottom as they have a lip arrangement on them on the bottom edge.

That is the way to do it, I found it easier to stand on stool to get head and hands up into the hatch to see what I was doing - turned out to be easy to do.

This is my trick:-
Obtain a few large bath sheets.
Lay them around randomly below the hatch
Spray the hatch liberally with a chlorine type cleaner.
Fire up the high pressure water blaster and presto good as new with no damage and no dismantling.
trust me it works

Are they fairly easy to refit once you have them out?

Fairly easy but sometimes a little fiddly and you need to try a few times. Refit at the bottom first, pushing, with your hand through the hatch, from the outside and checking from the inside that they are firmly over the bottom external bar. Then refit the top. It takes a little pressure and is better to do in the cool of the morning as it can sometimes get a little warm with your head up in the hatch. Patience will see you succeed.
Good luck.

When replacing them, attach the bottom of the screen first, then the sides and then do the top. Very easy after you have done it the first time.
