Dometic vaccume toilets

Can any owners help me with there experience with vaccume toilets? We are considering updating our van to one which has a centre ensuite using that system. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts.

Hi Rob
We have the vacuum toilet in our van and have had the tetford cassette in our previous vans. We would never go back to the tetford, we love the vacuum. We have had ours for three years and have not had a problem with it.

Hi Rob,
We would only ever have a vacuflush toilet. Love it. If ever we built another Bt we would have one again as it is so clean and no chemicals.
However we did have a few problems which we learnt to fix ourselves.
We found Dometic to be very helpful in Brisbane and useless for toilets everywhere else.
Once you master the art of the various fix up jobs there is no problems. And, as far as we can figure out we are the only ones that have had even a hint of a problem, we are so lucky!
Centre bathroom we have found is a really good design for us. We have a cafe at the back so we can see the view and nearly a 2mtr long kitchen. All in a 19ft van.
