Silverado Skid Plates

Has anyone had skid (bash) plates manufactured for their Silverado? We have a long range fuel tank fitted and it is partially supported by a length of "C" section across the chassis rails. This seems very vulnerable to me and so I wondered if anyone has undertaken any work to protect their long range tank.
