Keith/Marlene,
You have got a slight leak somewhere.
No other solution but to check carefully all joints and connections after the pump. Possibly one of the pipes has wriggled a little bit out of the fitting and water is seeping out.
Good luck.

I had a similar problem that was also driving us crazy. I cleaned out the filters which had accumulated some debris and no more problems. Hope this helps you.

Keith,
this may clear it.
Select ALL the tanks and run a bit of water through all taps and the shower.

Keith,
We had the same problem after arriving at Birdsville after rumbling over the Cordillo Downs road. I took the pump head off and cleaned under the valve seats of the 4 valves. I assumed that there was a little piece of fine debris caught between the valve and it's seat. I then ran the taps flat out for a minute or so to try to flush out the debris.
This didn't fix my problem and then thought that with all the vibrations of the corrugated track, that the pressure adjustment screw might have advanced itself to a higher cut off pressure setting.
So, I adjusted it back a quarter turn at a time untill it stopped "hunting". This helped us get some sleep other than switching the pump off at night. That was 2 years ago and it seems to have got better over time. So whether the debris has dislodged and flushed out or the opening and closing of the valves has hammered the debris flat or whether the pressure adjusting screw had advanced due to the vibrations????
Bottom line is that it all now works as it should.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Rick

When we had the problem it ended up being in the pump itself where something was causing a slight leak. I think that usually it will be a very slight leak in one of the fittings, but if you have been sending rocks flying it could have cause a pin hole in one of the pipes.
It drove me crazy trying to find the leak so I changed the pumps over and then found that the problem changed from non-potable to potable supply so it had to be in the pump itself.
Next I pulled the pump apart and carefully cleaned the diaphragm and after finding nothing put it all back together and we no longer had a problem.
The joys of owning and using an off road caravan.

And the final place to check is the pressure relief valve on the hot water system, make sure it is not weeping very slowly. It is located outside - just open the quick release cover on the heater and you will see the lever on the pipe. Its is good practice to open and close it a few times every couple of months and flush a bit of water through it.

Search eBay this item number 370450577657
It's identical to the Flojet you have. I carry a spare just in case.
