Yup, just got it back on Saturday. Had the recon long motor put up up at Armstrong beach - without the turbo. Drove it down to Maroochydore and got the above mob (SSC 4wd Centre) to check the turbo get the injectors and the injector pump done plus a few other jobs I had been saving up.
Turns out the mob that did the motor installation at Armstrong Beach were less than careful. Sunshine Coast 4wd Centre suggested they check the installation after they had found a few loose bolts and other bodgy bits of work.
They sent the injector pump to Power Diesel who specialise in doing up Injector pumps - they found it really badly worn and full of fine sand!!! Work that one out? the repair bill for job alone was worth $2300. So what will the new motor and ancillary work, a major service at the factory for the BT including the installation of a diesel heater. and Jeans two week trip to see her Mum in UK it has been a very expensive few weeks.
But she (the Dragon and the motor) is now running sweet!
