My Michelle Sacs bags have finely rotted and disintegrated. I did not like them much anyway, as they were "one size fits all" and they were always sliding off in one direction or another. I had to anchor them with extra ropes.

I am after a brand that makes them to suit your tyre size.

I once saw a very nice one at a camping show, but I have lost the name. It was the right size to hold a folding director chair (or two).

I would appreciate any leads on this.

Thanks,

Willie.

Bob and Laurel,

Thanks for that. I went to the website and there is a big range of bags.

I printed all the bag pages as it was very hard to compare each model on the site.

These are not the ones I saw at the 4wd site, but they look good.

Happy Christmas,

Willie

Thanks Col and Diane. I like the way these ones have the half circle of material over the top of the tyre, but I am not sure that nylon material would be strong enough for carrying loads over bad roads.

How hard has yours been tested ?

Willlie.

G'day Willie,

We had the MS one before and think this one is better. We've done quite a bit with this one, had it over two years and it's still good. Gone over plenty of fairly rough roads going to and from the goldfields in WA. However we mainly use it as a rubbish bag, and only on occasions for small firewood, so you may be thinking of heavier stuff than that. Best for you to make a "hands-on" assessment I guess.

Regards,

Col and Diane
