Hello fellow BOG Members,
We ordered our 20ft BT last year and are taking delivery on 3 March 2011.
We were hoping to attend the Denmark Muster but we won't get there in time. It is our hope to meet up with other BT owners at another gathering sometime in the future.
Meanwhile, we are very excited and looking forward to travelling to Qld to collect our van. Any tips on routes and good camping spots will be gratefully appreciated.
See you out there!
Bob and Lyn.

Welcome Lyn and Bob,
Don't know where you are coming from but if you are travelling through Adelaide look at Private Camps on the BOG site and come and stay on your way there or back.

Safe travelling

Hi Viv and John, Thanks for your kind offer, but at this time subject to weather and road conditions, we are planning to travel through the Broken Hill and Bourke route. We will probably be bi-passing Adelaide this time round, but we will keep it in mind for another trip.

We're a friendly lot over here in the East too, so make sure you say Hi if you see any BT's as you travel wherever you are. Only ever heard of one difficult experience with an owner who really preferred to be alone (or maybe they were having a bad day).

Don't forget to keep the posts coming about your experiences.

Happy travels.

Hi Bob & Lyn
Welcome to the world of the Nomad and all things BOG.
Waiting for delivery date is a bit like having your first baby again. Seems to take forever and then suddenly the big day arrives.
A March delivery date is starting to head towards cooler weather down south.
You could perhaps consider coming north for the winter, like so many others do,
May sees the end of the cyclone season and the start of the sugar harvest.
Winter time is the time to do Cape York.
Heaps of Grey Nomads make the Mareeba Rodeo ground their base camp and see the Atherton Tablelands and Barrier Reef from there. Plenty to see and do.
The CMCA have regularly held their Christmas In July meet here.
Look us up if you decide to come. Send member message. Might be able to offer suggestions.
As you have no doubt guessed, we live in Mareeba.
Cheers and happy BTing.

Hi John and Sharyn - hope you stay safe with such a threatening cyclone coming. We are watching the progress and thinking of those we know in Cairns and surrounds.

Nice people Mick.

Just don't ask them about the dent in their brand new 60th Anniversary 200 Series.

G'day Bob and Lyn,

Welcome!......... I don't want to put secret spots on the open forum,... so I'll list a few of the ones I know along the Brisbane to Ceduna Route on the Members Forum.

Take it easy and have a safe trip.
