Recent travel through Cumnock in central west NSW we noticed this artwork in front of the Police station & Police residence.
We have yet to find out if their humour extends to being booked & we hope we don't find out.

Hi John,

Correct with your identification. I thought this was a biggie, until I travelled to the 'Tip'.
This termite skyscraper is the biggest I've seen. If you scale the height of the termite skyscraper with the man with the hat, and assume he stands 1.8m, then the assumed height would be 17metres!!
If you want to see this mound on your way to the tip on the Peninsular development Road, it is located on the right hand side, about 100m from the road, just past "double dip". (when on this road, you will know the 'dip' signs)

Having a senior moment & getting the imperial & metric measurements confused, I believe the correct height of the termite mound is about 8.5m, not 17m!
