Out for a stroll from our B&B in Nelson in the South Island last week and I walked past a house and saw a caravan. I did a double take when I noticed it was a
Bushtracker with a shiny new looking Troopy in front of it.
I wanted to go in and say hello, but my wife dragged me away !
I wonder how it got there.
Cheer,
Willie.

A really long snorkel on the Troopy maybe.

Hiya Willie,
Where to you swing a detector on the South Island?????
Maybe that's why your wife dragged you away kicking and screaming, before you got to ask the fellow BT owner.
Cheers
Rick

G'day Rick,
I saw a lot of areas in Central Otago and on the West Coast that had been worked for gold. No doubt the locals give them a good going over. It would be impractical to take all the gear over there, so I guess you would have to hire it someplace.
I was not allowed anyway. It was a lookin, eatin and drinkin tour. We hired a car in Christchurch and drove down to Dunedin, then to Wanaka,Milford,Westport,Nelson,
Blenheim and back to Christchouch.
I flew over three days early for a couple of days of fantastic fly fishing out of Timaru.
Wonderful scenery, friendly people - great holiday.
The sharemarket has been a dud lately.

Sounds like a great getaway and I hope you managed to miss the Christchurch tragedy....awful event that.
The trout fishing sounds like a hoot. There is a trout hatchery at Ebor, 80k's East of here and they stock all the rivers in this region. I managed a couple of hours away some months ago and flicked a little hard body in a small river (Creek) and when retrieving it against the current over a deeper hole it was "woofed" by something large, but managed to shake itself free. These little streams up here are really worth a go. I'll have to make a bit more time for it.
Share Market??? don't you mean Scare Market....yep, I've been sitting on hands there for the last year. I've had enough on my plate what with buying the motel....GASP...It'll be one year on Tuesday. Two deaths in my family (August & November) added to the load.
This is a new year, so fingers crossed a bit more time out for some diversions.
Keep well Mate.
Cheers
Rick

Been holding since 2008.
They say they have discovered the biggest onshore gas find in WA's history. Only about 100kms north of Perth and 2.5 kms from the existing pipeline.

That all sounds pretty promising doesn't it....... are you sure they didn't do some directional drilling and spud into the existing gas pipeline???? Ha Ha Ha..
Cheers

Last sale 0.04 Stephen, so the value of your holding has increased today. Market cap is $178m, so a few people must think it's worth a punt.
4.3 billion shares on issue though - crikey.

Hi Willie
I would have door knocked - are you so small that Mrs can drag you away kicking and screaming?
