Travelling back to Tassie

Hi all we have just brought our first B/T and would like to know the best and shortest way back to tassie from Hervey Bay, we have not travelled the big island much as yet would be great to hear from some tassie B/T owners.

Yes Bob has it right, as long as you know lots of trucks doing 100Km Hr. so to not be a pain, that's your best speed to maintain.
BUT the best part is if you stop off at the Gwydir Carapark & Thermal pools at Moree Ph 026752 2723 for a brief rest & DIP the pools are the best & cleanest you will ever find, we love em.
Out the back sights No 36w to 42w are good to get into - but you need to be right on the edge of the site to be able to put out your awning, otherwise the drivethrough overnight sites are ok for a couple of days, (no awning room)
It's starting to get a bit cooler down here, you should be staying up there.

Hi Peter we are moving the van back home for this year as we still have lots of work we have to do ,we will tour around tassie for the rest of this year .
