I have recently made a firewood basket for the drawbar and modified the stoneguard.

Hi Stephen & Stephen's T/A.
Looks pretty good to me too.
In reference to your appearance comment, a friend of mine used to say his welding was "not good for the pretty but good for the strong", and you could perhaps do what most of us do, hand the angle grinder to the T/A.
The addition of mud flaps seems a good idea.
Just a thought. To increase your Tug to BT full lock clearance if required, perhaps you could angle the last 25% of the stone guard, and with your current forward stone guard positioning it would perhaps flick some of the stones out to the side.
Good on you mate. Keep on inventing. You have given me food for thought.

John, I had thought of what you're suggesting but the angles go all crazy when trying to do that, so it was the line of least resistance for me.
