We have recently purchased a 20foot 2010 Bushtracker. We are having some problems with the electric brakes as they keep grabbing when the brakes are applied. We have tried a different tow vehicle and the same thing keeps happening. The van has done approximately 12,000 kms. Has anyone else had a similiar problem, if so what was the outcome.
Any feedback welcome.

What sort of brake controller? Does it have a boost setting? Maybe you've got to much voltage dialed up on the controller or the boost (eg Prodigy brake controller) is too high.

The brakes could be full of dust?

Hi Dean & Janice
Welcome to the world of Bushtracker ownership, and all the great things that that makes possible for you both.
Suggest you have a look at your brake linings if you have the capability, or have them professionaly inspected if not.
If a section of the brake lining has seperated from the shoe it can cause lock up when the brakes are applied.
Can I also take this oportunity to invite you to become BOG (Bushtracker Owners Group) financial members, and gain further benefit from access to hints and tips on all things BOG, at a very reasonable membership fee. Example - cost savings available on brake repairs, and how to advice on many of the maintenance requirements for your recently acquired home away from home.
Cheers
