Does anyone have a good mounting head for a satellite dish. One that allow fine adjustment horizontally and vertically. I am tired of the crude radiused slots and wing nuts - very crude.
Regards John

What i used when we had the manual set up was a magnetised angle finder, i had a print out of the GPS settings that i downloaded from a Hills site, it was easy enough to point in the NE direction, stick the angle finder on the LNB arm and adjust the arm to suit the required degrees.

HI guys,
The problems is not finding the satellite but the crude elevating and swivelling system on top of the tripod for the whole dish.

Yeah i understand that John, i should have added that our set up was the basic crude system, using the angle finder just made it easier as i relied on that and not the tripod's angle degree measurements.
I have seen many Sat tripods and some do have better set up's, Another suggestion, how about utilising a Camera tripod head, would need to be one of the larger stronger types.
