Battery charger alarm

Can anyone shed any light on why our battery charger alarm goes off when battery is still at or above 12.5?? We have to disconnect it every night or have very interrupted sleep!! Battery is fairly new and has been tested - A ok.

Hi
It could be a loose wire at the front of the charger, a white little plastic plug, some times a solder joint on the board cracks... As did on mine, I fixed that then two years later it was the temp sensor.....so
It could be the temperature sensor in the batt. Box usually packed with silicon around it, withtwo single wires, can be easterly replaced, to remove it peel the silicon away check if the two wires are Brocken, if not take it to a jay car elect. Shop get two only about 2$ each As the diod is stuffed.
