We have just picked up our new Landcruiser Altitude, i would like some information on the best electric brake controller for a 20 Foot BT and where is the best place to mount it as there is not a lot of room.
Look forward to your suggestions.
Cheers,
Dean

Tekonsha prodigy or P3.
In front of your left knee.

In our GXL there was a business card holder on the right side of the steering column, I had that removed and the Tekonsha Prodigey fitted the hole very neatly, you can't knock your knee cap when getting into the seat.

hi boots. the safest place to mount your brake controller is in the ash tray,in the lower central of the dash. if that airbag next to your knee ever goes off,the brake controller will take your leg off. regards kenmarg

Ken, I don't think the GXL and Altitude models have a knee airbag.
VX and Sahara only.
I'll stand corrected.

hi stephen. well you learn something new everyday???? i have the vx model, and i thought, beeing a big safety feature,11air bags would be in all 200series. to replace that ashtray,( no drilled holes, and no cables coming down from behind the dash ) makes it a very easy installation . regards. ken brown
