Hi Michael
i too posted on the general forum on purpose. And for two reasons also.

1: It is a good opportunity for prospective members to view some of the activities that are on offer at these Musters and hopefully will help them see one of the benefits of becoming a financial member.

2: Please refer to post 7793 as i do not feel like going through it all again.

Regards
Lance

BOG Insurance:

A timely reminder to all attendees of the Muster from the BOG Commitee:-

"Bushtracker Owners who are non-financial members of the BOG and are attending the Mini Musters are not covered by the BOG Insurance and they attend at their own risk."

As one of the organisers of this event, it is my responsibility to insure that this information is imparted to all non-financial attendees on their arrival.

Regards

Lance

Only 14 days to go.... Check out the Muster Tab for full details.

Wednesday 21-03-2012 to Wednesday 28-03-2012 at the Kalbar Showgrounds.

All fees payable in cash at the showground as there are no credit card or eftpos facilities available.

There is a bank and post office in town which has these facilities.

Bring along your membership cards or some form of name tags for use throughout the week to help with remembering names. Holders will be provided if required.

For Queenslanders attending, there will be provision for voting at the local state school on Saturday 24th. The school is within 1 km of the showground.

As a result of the Qld elections the wine tasting which was planned for the Sat. prior to the catered dinner has been changed to the Monday afternoon prior to the camp oven dinner. Apologises from David and Suzi, the owners of Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard.

Davids plan of events as discussed with Harry went like this:

a. I would arrive at Kalbar at 3.00pm with Suzi and start setting up.
b. There is an area in the pavilion and that bar area would suit very well.
c. We would bring over some Sangria – which is made from our Rose style wine, some chilled Rose, 2 examples of Chambourcin wine, and some Famous Bunyip Port. We’ll bring disposable plastic glasses for tasting and for drinking. We’ll bring some dark chocolate for the Port tasting.
d. We’d be ready to roll with tastings at 3.30pm and keep it rolling until the camp fire dinner starts at 6pm.
e. Depending on how you feel Suzi and I could stay and serve wine with the meal.
f. The price of the wines are all $15 a bottle and the 750ml Port is $20 – we’ll have a credit card machine, not EFTPOS.
g. The wines would be: Sangria, Hard Yards Shiraz Rose, Snow Dog Chambourcin, Snow Pup Chambourcin, Famous Bunyip Port.

Cheers,

David McMaugh

On the day of departure (28th) there will be 200 A MODEL FORDS ( national rally) in the showground for a morning tea stopover. Could be worth a look if interested in old cars.

Harry has organised a supply of old poles for firewood but they wont be cut up, so bring along your chainsaw if you have one.

Dont forget your old or new goods for the swap, buy and sell table.

Contact:
Harry - 0488 684 364 or Lance - 0428 938 226 For more info, queries or suggestions.

One more update to come.

Cheers

Final Reminders

Once again, dont rely on Harrys weather forcasting......bring an umbrella and gum boots.
Cash only for payment of fees.
Any special dietery requirements please advise Harry or myself.
Bring along your membership cards or some form of name tags for use throughout the week to help with remembering names. Holders will be provided if required.
