This information may be of some interest to those people who, like us, travel the highway with the headlights on during daylight for safety reasons.

Anyway, in our LC 200 Series, as soon as I turned the lights on, I couldn't read the Radio/CD/Rear camera console as it automatically dims. So I now have a switch whereby with one flick it can be bypassed and remain bright during the day. It works really well and I wouldn't be without it now. It doesn't affect the dash in our car which has the optriton lighting.

The work can be carried out by an auto electrician or car radio specialists who knows what they are doing. I had a lot of other work done at the same time, but was advised that this job on it's own would cost approx. $80.
