Greetings all
I/We are in the throws of trying and hoping to organising aBOG (Bushtrackers owners group), KOG (Kedron owners group and SOG (Spinifex owners group) combined gathering.

Thoughts are for the Australia Day long weekend in January.
The venue at this stage will be at Six mile Country Retreat see http://www.sixmilecountry.com/
There is lots of room with great fivesies shed, powered sites for those that need them and heaps of things to see and do in the area.
There will be no obligation to do anything but to turn up and enjoy

Stay tuned guy's more will definately follow.
It will be a good gathering to talk with like minded people and to see how
they do it (vanning that is ) and maybe break down some misconceptions about fellow travellers and their rigs.
If you would like to attend please reply to this post with names and attendance details so we can book the venue.
Cheers and very happy travels to all from the Kyd's

Great idea.

It would be interesting to meet everybody and gather up more travelling friends.

A long way from WA in January but hopefully the concept will gather momentum and more will be organised.

Well done.

Sounds good to me and we would be very interested in attending. I not that it is close to Mupheys Creek near Toowoomba where the big flood went through last year.
Obviously it must be safe in extreme wet because it is still standing.

Great idea, regret we won't be able to attend. You may want to think about TOGs (Trackmaster) also a great bunch of people but appreciate the line has to be drawn somewhere

Sounds good to me.
A bit early for us to confirm at this stage as we would normally be in Tamworth for the music festival.

If Tamworth doesn't happen, it may be time for a change, then we would most likely come as it is only about a half days drive for us.

Congratulations on taking the initiative, a good idea.

Regards
Bob

This is a wonderful idea and I wish I was able to be there. But at that time of the year we know we will be dog sitting for our daughter while she goes overseas.

Each of us are keen outback travellers and have so much to learn from each other. It should be a great get together.
