Hi Motherhen
I see BT's travelling through Alice almost everyday this time of year. Passed one parked in a side street today.

Hi Jeff
If i am in town and see a BT (i do not go into to town very much now) i either lurk then accost the owners, or put a sticky note with my
BOG name and phone number on their door if no-one in sight. The latter has never brought a contact. One of my daughters has now been trained to bail them up also and we have met some good members that way too :) Otherwise a number of members make contact when coming our way and we enjoy meeting them on our patch.

Hullo Motherhen
You must be fulltime on the web, even when on the track! :-)
Thanks for the help re rainwater collection. I now have some good and tested ideas.
As for BH, we hope to be up that way and into the corner country in August - rain permitting. Then maybe back down the Darling (our third try after 2 earlier ones cancelled due to closed roads)
Enjoy the rest of your journey
Cheers
Andrew

Hi Andrew
No, no such luck for us - our last real trip was 2009. No, i am home in the cool and damp south west meant to be doing my tax stuff :(, but while not travelling, i dream travelling and spend way to much time chatting on forums :) - hence i have my spies out there LOL
Cheers

Enjoy the journey to warmer climates Stephen :).
I have never seen ice patterns like this on our cars, prior to this morning.

The roof wasn't washed that day was it MH?
Looks like swirl marks from washing.

I does look like that - but no - i can't reach the roof of my car to wash it LOL - and the bonnet and roof of F250 were the same and i can't even reach the bonnet of the F250.
We did wash a car once many years ago to go to a family wedding - not a smart move; it uncovered rust bubbles :O. Then my Mum went looking for my car at the swimming pool where i was with the children's lessons, to leave something in it for me - and couldn't find it. She said later "I never knew you had a white car ~."
